Become the newest technical leader in Toshiba’s Digital Platform group. This position will focus on driving innovative solutions for our business that will be designed and built by you and your team. We are building our solutions cloud native using Microservices and OpenAPI with a Java backend. All services are built with containers for scalability and rapid prototyping and development.
The Principal Software Engineering Manager will drive development as the Digital Platform group moves into new market areas, including Cloud Computing, IoT, Computer Vision, and Data Analysis. This position will include individual coding and peer-reviewing of the team’s work. While this position will have a small team of their own, they will also be an influencer across other teams and their leads. This role will require work with the product line group and head of Software Development to align our product roadmaps with our execution. Working as a team, the Director, Principal Software Engineer Managers, and individual team leads will generate and execute individual project plans.
