Ad-Lib Digital is a company that offers a creative management platform. It leverages AI technologies to automate creative ad production workflows and optimize performance across multiple channels.

Ad-Lib clients are the world’s biggest brands such as Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Virgin Group, Warner Bros., and others.

In November of 2019, Ad-Lib successfully scored $6M in Series A funding from Fog City Capital. The company saw a business growth of more than 300% year-on-year.

Business Challenge

Ad-Lib was looking to develop a creative management platform for digital advertising, which would automate, improve, and lower the cost of ad creative production.

  • The idea was to automate all aspects of visual assets production, including cross-channel, cross-format, and cross-location production.
  • Ad-Lib previously collaborated with a vendor but was unhappy with the solution development.
  • The MVP that Ad-Lib had was in a very fragile state: Any changes to the code caused the support side to break.

To include video support for ad creatives, we built in a custom video analysis module that can analyze every single frame of the video and automatically identify objects, people, text, and scenes. It adapts any video for multi-channel advertising campaigns.
