Project:

A specialised platform that enhances its capabilities in healthcare advertising. It lets publishers monetize their inventory while ensuring compliance and integration with CMI’s services.

The Lead Backend SDE (.NET) role is intended for a visionary leader with extensive experience who will guide a team and ensure the successful delivery of the adtech project. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of .NET technologies and the ability to architect big data systems while also addressing the unique needs of healthcare advertising.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions using .NET technologies, such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core, to handle real-time bidding and ad serving.
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native development on platforms like Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Functions, App Services, and Cosmos DB for scalability and performance.
• Ensure the implementation of robust security measures, including compliance with HIPAA for healthcare data, to protect patient information in advertising contexts.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of high-performance backend systems, ensuring they meet the demands of programmatic advertising and data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers, to define and deliver technical strategies aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 8 of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Profound expertise in:.NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET Core,Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Service Bus (or other messaging mechanism), App Services, Azure Storage
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Azure DevOps
  • Good understanding of SQL databases and query optimizations

• Domain Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with advertising technologies like real-time bidding systems and data management platforms.
  • Understanding HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.

• Leadership and Soft Skills:
  • Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering complex projects successfully
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cross-platform development using .NET MAUI, enhancing the SSP’s flexibility across different platforms.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies for better integration and collaboration with front-end teams.
  • Certifications in .NET, Azure, or related technologies, adding credibility and expertise.
