Your first mission will be to lead the migration of all existing IT services and infrastructure from the current shared environment with our company group to a fully independent Flibco setup. This includes Microsoft tenants, user management, and endpoint provisioning, among others. Also, you will establish and grow a capable IT operations team, hire and onboard IT Support Specialists and System Administrators, and implement ITSM best practices. Setting up an efficient and scalable ticketing system, defining SLAs, and introducing KPIs will be part of your foundation work. While a landscape exists today, independence means the freedom to rethink and rebuild: if a tool like Freshdesk doesn’t fit our future, you’ll help us transition to something more suitable like Jira Service Management. Ultimately, the business value of this role lies in enabling our experts across domains to excel, ensuring our IT foundation scales with our rapid market expansion.
This is not your typical IT operations role. At Flibco, the Head of IT Operations is seen as a strategic partner across departments. You will work closely with market leads to understand on-the-ground challenges, anticipate needs in new geographies, and proactively improve systems and services to support the business. From managing hardware across office and ground locations to ensuring endpoint protection and overseeing VPN and cloud firewall configurations, you will touch every critical element of our IT backbone. Your remit includes Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, MobileIron MDM, Jira, Confluence, and Slack — but nothing is set in stone. Your job is to challenge the status quo and propose improvements.

This position is based at our headquarters in Luxembourg. We embrace a hybrid work model, offering flexibility between remote work and on-site collaboration.
