Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is looking for a System Administrator to perform complex technical services for the TGCS environment in support of End Users. Provide diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for areas related to Hardware/software failures, network connectivity, Laptop/PC deployment/replacement/asset tracking and general desktop/lab equipment problems.
• Associate Degree or equivalent. A minimum of five years in the combination of the following: diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for areas related to Hardware/software failures, network connectivity, Laptop/PC deployment/replacement/asset tracking and general desktop/printer support. Must have demonstrated experience handling complex hardware/software installation, configuration, solutions, viruses print servers/queues and complex troubleshooting.
• Must have ability to work in fast paced Help Desk environment. Must have previous experience with ticket system.
• Must have experience in supporting networked multi-function devices, and handheld devices.
• Must have experience in supporting Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Symantec anti-virus and wireless connectivity.
• Must have good understanding of multiple platforms (Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows Mobile). Some working knowledge of: Microsoft O365, WDC and Intune.
• Strong working knowledge of common end-user software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, Outlook).
• Strong customer Support skills. Must possess a courteous and professional manner along with the ability to deal effectively with end users. Ability to work independently but able to collaborate with a team when required.
• Must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical people.
• Must be able to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables with minimal or no supervision
