The data platform is a central element of our solutions. Our data team works on challenging projects that involve near-real-time processing of petabytes of high-intensity streaming data. We build scalable and efficient data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies and proprietary solutions.

Role Description

We seek a mission-focused Data Evangelist to join the team driving our company’s data strategy. He will be responsible for shaping our company’s data vision and strategy and providing architectural guidance to us and our clients.

Data Evangelist will be responsible for the following areas:

1. Architectural Consulting: Provide expert guidance on enterprise data architecture, platform selection, and implementation, ensuring optimal solutions.
2. Proprietary Platform Strategy: Develop and promote our company’s data platform, showcasing its value proposition publically.
3. Strategic account development: Building and maintaining strong client relationships with key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor.
4. Thought Leadership: Position our company as a thought leader in the data industry through public speaking, blogging, and industry engagement.

Requirements

We are searching for a professional with the following skillset:

• Broad solution architecture or similar leadership role background, with a minimum of 12+ years of experience in the data science/data engineering industry.
• Proven track record in enterprise data solutions implementation.
• Strong understanding of major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Broad understanding of commercial and open-source ML/AI/Data tech providers stack. Deep experience with any subset of this stack.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for identifying market opportunities.
• Expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
• Ability to immerse deeply into business problem and design technical solutions for it.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

Will be a big plus:

• Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, or related field
• Recognized certifications in major data tech platforms
• Experience in public speaking and writing articles, own technical blog
