HR/Operations Generalist (Wroclaw)

Key purpose of role


Two major responsibility areas:
1) support routine HR activities including onboarding, adoption and other standard HR process procedures;
2) support various Operations activities including office/lab infrastructure management and maintenance as well as support of production operations of on-premises and remote employees.

Key accountabilities

Recruitment

  • Ensure correct VISA and immigration documentation is in place for each candidate/ employee
  • Issue offer letters and employment contracts to successful candidates.

On-boarding

  • Arrange personal IT equipment, building access etc. for new starters
  • Set up new starters on payroll and manage changes through Warsaw office
  • Arrange and monitor induction sessions and activities.

Setting up and Maintenance of Development Office/Lab in Wroclaw

  • Supporting set up and commissioning of office
  • Lab/dev office maintenance arrangements including communications and tracking of service providers, external vendor, suppliers
  • Support operational part of corporate events, workshops, teambuilding activities including work with external venues, service providers, goods suppliers etc.

Support individual operations needs both for on premise and remote employees

  • Handle equipment purchase and shipment requests
  • Support resolution of person specific environment/infrastructure operations issues
  • Expedite payroll and payouts issues and inquires.

Other

  • Work with GM and Director HR to implement core processes and policies.
  • Maintain HR systems and data
  • Respond to requests for information and reporting
  • Acts as first point of contact for all HR matters.

Person specification

Qualifications and Experience

  • Held previous position of seniority in organisations of a similar profile in software development companies/departments. Able to establish credibility and deliver results
  • Able to operate independently, will have experience of setting up a new office/ team
  • Understand the wider HR agenda particularly onboarding and will have spent time in a generalist role
  • Able to meet and drive deadlines, experience of working as workstream owner in a cross functional, global project team
  • Can demonstrate passion for working with people and willingness to work beyond the confines of the job description
  • Hold a HR related qualification with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Worked in Global organisations, able to understand the bigger picture and overall company aim
  • Good knowledge of Polish, English, Ukrainian and/or Russian language.
